Find or create a peaceful place and take some time each day to empty your mind completely of the human world's dross and ugliness.
Breathing slowly and deeply, exist in the moment: be aware only of its beauty, the slow growth of trees, the chatter of birds, the feel of the wind on your face, the brightness of sunlight, the ripples on the water, the soft sound of a waterfall.
Peace, for a short time, will be yours.

It isn't too late, Mary. It's easy to learn and of real importance to those trying to retain their sanity in this madhouse.
Mentally and physically, it gives you some time out, a chance to connect with the natural world that surrounds you, helps to bring things into balance.
Highly recommended!
