"JUST THE BEGINNING."
This painting by Wojciech Nowakowski has the above title. Warning: if you click it and view it full size you may be alarmed.
What do you think the artist intended his art work to say?
To me it represents the evils that us humans are responsible for returning from the crypt to haunt us. An attempt by tortured souls that have been killed to change the way we behave to save the human race. It is very grim and it too seems to pluck that dark primitive chord like Daniel said.
It is the view I can imagine World Leaders will face in their after life as they meet the souls of the innocents they've killed with their warmongering decisions.
As an athiest I don't believe in an after life, but I certainly belief in karma...I just don't know how that works out....
Perhaps because the evil doers themselves "believe" it will come to pass for them having created their own environment...
Too deep for me to cope with Daniel but as a painting I wouldn't want it on my wall!

The End is Near...
Ya think?
My first response after seeing the painting ... I believe our ancestors would be horrified at what we have all become....
We honour the dead by evolving, carrying on, improving.... what would our forefathers think? Would the world not shame them?
Peace and Blessings

It's an interesting painting, Lil and No, one that I find disturbing.
It seems to pluck a dark, primitive chord inside me.
Cheers!
