SEEKING PEACE?

To meditate does not mean to fight with a problem.

To meditate means to observe.

Your smile proves it.

It proves that you are being gentle with yourself,

that the sun of awareness is shining in you,

that you have control of your situation.

You are yourself,

and you have acquired some peace.

I have just begun to meditate the first time being a day or two ago. Usually I go find myself a quite and serene place and lay out all that happened in my day. And I usually go through a long thought process.

Afterwards I feel much better more at peace with myself and the world.

Cheers!

and Namaste!

Each person finds a way that suits them, Damian. The important thing is to learn the skill for in the days ahead, I fear we will need it!

I agree daniel, we're going to need all our inner strength and as much inner peace as we can muster in order to keep our sanity. That's a lovely picture with your post.

Have never been close to seeing TNH but have heard it's a peaceful experience.

Have read a few of his books and they are well worth reading. He's a gentle Soul, to be sure!

I've only just discovered him myself, Coffee. He has contributed a great deal to world peace.

Thanks, Betmo and Patricia. I love this photograph too!
