THE FRYING PAN INTO THE FIRE?

Photo: thanks to Neo-Resistance.

Should we be lucky enough to get rid of Bush and his Bushrangers (Outlaws) in the next few weeks BEFORE he drops the nukes on Iran and pushes the whole world into meltdown, this could be the person who will be the next President.

You have to feel sorry for the American people sometimes. With 300,000,000 people to choose from they elect George twice then next they'll probably elect Hillary.

What does it say about the majority of Americans? Any suggestions? And what do you think Hillary is saying?

What about: "And you think George is a hawk?"

P.S. Mind you, Howard has proven to be a poor choice in Australia but, to give him his due, at least he's not embarked on any imperialism. Although, hang on, there are Australian troops in Timor, Malaysia and the Solomon Islands plus Iran and Afghanistan and who knows where else. Oh, oh!

Sorry to be rude here but my first thought was that she looks like a puppet, but with who's hand up her bum? Bill's or Georges?
Yeah...surely there are more reasonable choices in the US than Hilary?

I'm baffeled again!

She looks deranged! George is deranged! Cheers.

yeah- me too. hillary is a fine senator- from my home state of new york. she and chuckles shumer have done some good things. however, i have written her on two occasions and told her i would not support her presidential run- she needs to stay in the senate. apparently, rupert murdoch has more sway over her than i do. sigh. it isn't the most capable person who runs here- it's the one with the most money.

Daniel, Hillary is not a shoo-in by a long shot...I'm not saying that Americans WON'T reveal their poor choicing skills once again and put her in office (god knows I'm still trying to figure out how our half-assed cowboy got re-elected), but nobody would be more shocked than I if she were elected.

The sad truth is that right now she looks to be the Democrat with the most $$$ behind her, therefore the one with the best opportunity to package and sell herself, and of course her husband (the last great American president) knows how to do that.

Collectively, Americans are stupid. They (we) are not raised to think for ourselves. We are raised to believe whatever the media broadcasts repetitively in our faces. It's too hard for most to analyze potential consequences of basic actions (i.e., casting a vote for a half-assed, money-grubbing, war-mongering cowboy). Unfortunately, that means that if Hillary is packaged in an appetizing way, she very well could win the majority of the democratic vote. A bunch of us are going to do everything possible to prevent that from happening, though.

Thanks for the link, btw! (and sorry I got on my soapbox)...

Betmo, I hope that whoever gets in (assuming our world still exists) the the Constitution is seriously ammended and, in the future, a President will have very limited powers. Neither the world or America can afford to allow someone like Bush to hold so much power ever again.

Bluegrrrrl, thanks for dropping by and I'm glad you got on your soapbox. It's important for people to know that not all Americans approve of Bush and his Neocons. The Constitution also needs to be ammended to stop money buying government policies!

I don't know if anyone realizes, but this time, they've started the run-up to an election a year sooner than usual. Not only is it crazy to think logically about any of these people, but, it is taking time and pressure from stopping the War among other life threatening situations ; (

I guess the Democrats are to blame for this situation, Coffee. The American people should be focusing on the wars and, worse, the threat of nuclear war but, with media assistance, the Presidential Circus, still two years away, has rolled into town.

What was it? Give them bread and circuses!

:)) This photo is getting neo-resistance good publicity!

I wish I knew who had shot it! I just obtained it by googling helleere up! But I just cannot imagine WHO can be a good American politician in an imperialist state?!

Time for good Americans to move up to Canada again :)

If we bloggers all work together we can become a force to be reckoned with. Thanks for calling and Canada is great. I lived there for three years! Cheers!

I have to say as a Democrat, I thought Clinton was a terrible president..what is the deal with signing the Nafta bill and the welfare reform bill..It reminded me of Regan in so many ways...I guess I'm in the minority here, though...I think people are personally attacking Bush with no good merit when we should be concentrating on the issue at hand: getting our troops out of Iraq.

Daniel said...

I guess Bush is the reason why the troops are in Iraq, No! And why they'll soon be in Iran, then Syria, then who knows, probably Lebanon!

Bush has to go!

I know, but I still think attacking Bush personally on so many levels is wrong.

Democrats dislike her because she's a Republican. Republican's dislike her because she's a Clinton. I dislike her because she's a liar! She's having a lot of trouble getting around that vote of hers for the war, then saying she won't apologize for it. Sadly, the field is so weak, she may get the nomination. Look for Bush Lite if she gets elected.

Daniel said...

Dear NO, I'm intrigued as to why you feel Bush should be above criticism. Please enlighten me.

Bush Lite, I like that, FWY. Cheers to you both!

Bush is not above criticism. I certaintly don't like his politics. I think the troops should get out of Iraq...I just feel the personal attacks are unwarranted..criticize the politics, not the person...that's just my feeling...I'm certain I'm on the minority on this one.

I guess I find it hard to disentangle the man from his politics, No.

Be happy being in the minority. People need to be individuals not sheeple. Cheers.
