A QUAGMIRE OF ITS OWN MAKING!

This excellent cartoon from aljazeerah brilliantly illustrates the no-win situation that America has created for itself in the Middle East, one echoed in the recent report by the Iraq Survey Group.

It also the highlights the danger that occurs when delusions about the efficacy of brute power are allowed to take precedence over commonsense and diplomacy. It further brings into focus the utter foolishness of George Bush and his cabal of talentless morons (who our stupid, craven Prime Minister is still supporting in spite of the evidence of total failure).

An Iraqi official warned America prior to the invasion that it would become caught in a quagmire and it has. Following the Vietnam debacle you'd think it might've learned.

But then America never learns from its mistakes!
